Connor completed his studies at the University of Cape Town, where he also tutored an undergraduate finance course covering fixed income, derivatives, and behavioural finance, and went on to pass Level I of the CFA Program. During his studies, he was selected for Investec’s Navigate programme, gaining early exposure to the investment industry.

He joined FBX Capital Partners as an Analyst and progressed to Senior Analyst, working with a range of lenders and businesses across different industries. Connor focuses on understanding each client’s business model and presenting funding opportunities in a way that aligns with lenders’ expectations, carrying out financial analysis, developing lender narratives, coordinating information between stakeholders, and keeping deals progressing efficiently through to completion.

Connor grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, where early interests in business and competitive sport, particularly water polo, shaped the disciplined, competitive approach he brings to his work today.
