Marais grew up on a farm in Gauteng, South Africa, with farming deeply rooted in his family. He attended Affies in Pretoria and completed his studies at Stellenbosch University. Outside of work, his passion is cycling.

Marais Basson is a Debt Advisory Analyst at FBX Capital. He works closely with clients, gathering critical information to support their funding applications. He ensures the client’s strongest case is presented to the right lenders and guides the process to completion. 

He brings discipline, precision, and a strong work ethic to his role. He believes the future holds greater opportunities than any current plans.
