FAQs

What type of business can you help?

We target fast-growing and fast-changing businesses across the UK, USA & Europe. We have a sector-agnostic approach where we back ambitious management teams to assist their growth aspirations by aligning ourselves with companies with a compelling story. Whether it’s a buy-and-build or acquisition strategy, growth and working capital requirements, or a restructuring event, we have you covered.

Is there a minimum criteria for you assisting?

We do not have a set minimum criteria and can back new start businesses but favour businesses with strong fundamentals and business plan. Although we prefer businesses to have a minimum turnover of £5m, we can work with startups with strong VC backing and rapid growth plans to help achieve their goals through our venture debt capabilities.

How long does it take to raise funding?

Fundraising timelines vary significantly based on transaction complexity. Our typical target is 4-6 weeks. Asset-based lending (ABL) structures involving multi-jurisdictional valuations may require additional time. Conversely, straightforward cashflow loans through our private credit offering can be completed more quickly.

How much does funding cost?

Funding costs vary significantly based on your credit profile, security package offered, and current market conditions. Key cost components include interest rates, arrangement fees, ongoing monitoring charges, and legal expenses. Contact us to discuss indicative pricing tailored to your circumstances.

When should we appoint an advisor?

Engaging an advisor early in your funding process helps optimise outcomes. The ideal time is when you've identified a funding need but before approaching lenders directly. Early involvement allows proper preparation of materials and effective structuring of your funding request.

How much do you cost?

Our fees align closely with your success, with the majority paid upon completion. We charge a success-based percentage of funds raised, with a portion committed at term sheet stage. This structure ensures our interests remain aligned with achieving optimal outcomes for your business.
